Benefits of Membership
The Organization of Professional Referrals provides an excellent opportunity for business owners and professionals to network and
promote their products and services. At each meeting, you will be given an
opportunity to promote your business in a supportive environment. The valuable
contacts that you make at these meetings, and other OPR sponsored events, will
enable you to forge strong, professional relationships with other businesses and
professions, which will lead to more business and more business opportunities.

OPR holds mixers and other events to promote OPR and its members.
Co-op advertising opportunites are available.
Membership Responsibilities
Paying annual membership dues.
Attending one meeting per month.
Supporting other members through qualified business leads and referrals.
Participating in the organization's events and activities.
Meetings Meetings are held from 8:30-9:30am on the first and third Thursdays of the month at Kosta's Restaurant in the Ebensburg MiniMall. If, for any reason, a scheduled meeting is cancelled, the meeting will be held the following Thursday. Please check the OPR calendar for
updates.

Purpose The Organization of Professional Referrals (OPR) is an organization of business owners and professionals whose purpose is to help promote, educate, and network among its members to assist in building a solid customer base through qualified business leads.

Membership
OPR is an organization of business owners and professionals who are interested in networking with other owners and professional to grow their businesses
through qualified business leads. Membership is open to any individual in good standing and having a business interest (ie
Client) within the chapter's area. OPR allows only one member per professional
or business category, as defined by OPR, to join and no organization or
individual may hold more than two (2) professional or business categories.

Committees
Financial Chairman: Madeline Conrad Committee Members: Barbara Buck
The financial committee:
Develops the annual budget;
Performs annual audits of the organization's finances;
Ensures that the organization adheres to recognized accounting procedures;
Prepares and presents to the membership periodic reports of financial activity; and
other activities, required by law.
Historian Historian: Gale Zoldak
The historian is an authority on the history of OPR. She collects and studies articles and announcements about the organization and its members.
Membership Chairman: Jim Hurtack Committee Members: Terry Knopp
The membership committee is responsibile for:
Processing membership applications;
Maintaining the membership list;
Monitoring the status of members; and
Other activities, as determined by the membership.
Public Relations Chairman: Katy Davis Committee Members: Andrea Ceglar
The public relations committee:
Promotes OPR through print, internet and broadcast media;
Publicizes OPR networking and other events;
Represents OPR in the community;
Produces brochures and other related materials.
Sergeant-at-Arms Sergeant-at-Arms: James Hurtack
The sergeant-at-arms keeps order during meetings and insures that meetings begin and end on time.
Social Chairmen : Paul Cannizzaro Committee Members: Jim Hurtack
The social committee is responsible for planning events where members can socialize outside of the meeting setting.
Speakers Chair: Paul Cannizzaro
It is the responsibility of this committee to:
Schedule speakers for OPR meetings.
Special Events Chairwoman: Tina Boland Committee Members: Sharon McGinnis
It is the responsibility of the special events committee to:
Plan events where members can network with other professionals and businesses;
Plan events where members can promote their products and services;
Notify members of tradeshows, chamber, and other events that could benefit the membership.
